Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, with a 75.8 score against 74.5. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a a bit heavier portable tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, but they have the same thickness. These devices work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has an older 4.4.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has Android 9.0 Pie version.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a better device, it costs more than the Galaxy Tab A 10.5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab A 10.5. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Galaxy Tab A 10.5, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
