The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) design is older, a little thicker and extremely heavier than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0. These devices have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has an older 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat.
