The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is much better than the Sony Tablet S, getting a general score of 75.8 against 57.5. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) construction is a lot newer, notably thinner and just a little bit lighter than Sony Tablet S. Both tablets in this comparison review include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has the newer 4.4.2 version and Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0 version, so it offers some additional features and improved performance.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a much sharper screen than Sony Tablet S, because it has a bit larger display, a lot more pixels per display inch and a way better 1600 x 2560 resolution. Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has just a bit more memory to install applications and games than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a SD card slot that admits up to 64 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a much better performing processing unit than Sony Tablet S, because it has a greater number of cores , 2 GB more RAM memory and an extra graphics co-processor. The Sony Tablet S shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), although it has a camera with lot less megapixels resolution and a lot lower video resolution.
Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a much better battery lifetime than Sony Tablet S, because it has a 64 percent greater battery size.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is also a lot cheaper, which makes this tablet a great choice.
