Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is better than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, having a score of 75.8 against 68.5. Although the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a better portable tablet than the Sony Xperia Tablet Z, it must be told that it is also just a bit heavier and somewhat thicker. Both of these tablets work with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has 4.4.2 version and Sony Xperia Tablet Z has Android 4.4.4 version.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features just a little better processing power than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a much better 450 megahertz graphics co-processor and a higher amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a little bit better screen than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a higher amount of pixels per display inch and a higher 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution.

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z's memory for apps and games is very similar to Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014)'s one, both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage and a SD card slot that admits up to 64 GB. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a really longer battery lifetime than Xperia Tablet Z, because it has an 8220mAh battery size.

Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes it an easy decision.
