Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a little bit better than Xperia Z2 Tablet, having a 75.8 score against 69.8. Both tablets we are comparing here come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has 4.4.2 version and Xperia Z2 Tablet has Android 4.4.4. Despite being the best device in our current comparison, we must highlight that it is also somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker.

Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet has a processing unit that is very similar to the CPU in Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), both of them have a 450 megahertz graphics co-processor, a 3 GB RAM memory and a Quad-Core CPU. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a slightly better screen than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, and although they both have a same size screen, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a higher 1600 x 2560px resolution and more pixels per display inch.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has 32 GB internal memory. The Xperia Z2 Tablet captures a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Xperia Z2 Tablet also has a more MP back-facing camera.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Xperia Z2 Tablet, because it has 8220mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xperia Z2 Tablet, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xperia Z2 Tablet. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), else you can save a couple dollars and get the Xperia Z2 Tablet, resigning a couple specifications.
