Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is much better than Xiaomi pad 5, having a 75.8 score against 57.7. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has 4.4.2 version while Xiaomi pad 5 has Android 12 version, so it gives you a couple nice extra features and a performance increase. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is better than the Xiaomi pad 5, we must tell that it is also a older, somewhat thicker and just a little bit heavier tablet.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a much faster processing unit than Xiaomi pad 5, because although it has less processing cores (but faster) and 3 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a way better looking screen than Xiaomi pad 5, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1600 x 2560px, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also counts with a little better pixels amount per screen inch.
The Xiaomi pad 5 counts with a way better camera than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), because it has a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a lot higher 13 megapixels resolution camera. The Xiaomi pad 5 counts with a superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory.
The Xiaomi pad 5 counts with just a little better battery life than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), because it has a 6% more battery capacity.
