Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a general score of 77.4, which is much better than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1's global score of 65.5. Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition)'s body is newer, thinner and a little lighter than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1. Both of these tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has newer 4.4.2 version and Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has Android 3.2, providing the user a couple nice extra features and some performance improvements.

The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) counts with a quite better performance than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has a slower GPU, it also counts with 2 more cpu cores and a larger amount of RAM. The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a much better looking screen than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, and although they both have a display of the same size, the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also has a lot greater pixels number per inch of screen and a lot better 1600 x 2560 resolution.

The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also has an external memory slot that admits up to 64 GB.

The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) counts with a little longer battery duration than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because it has an 8220mAh battery size instead of 7000mAh. Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 counts with a much better camera than Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), although it has a lot lower (HD) video resolution and a back-facing camera with lot less mega-pixels.

Although Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), but if you don't you can save some money and get the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, giving up some specs and features.
