GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a score of 77.4, which is way better than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s 61.4 overall score. GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition)'s body is newer, somewhat thinner and just a little lighter than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1.

The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a lot better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a same size display, the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also has a much better resolution of 1600 x 2560 and much more pixels per inch in the screen. The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also has more internal memory.

The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a much greater performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has an extra GPU, a larger number of faster cores and more RAM memory. GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a little longer battery life than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a 17 percent bigger battery size.

Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) captures just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a way more MP camera in the back and a lot better video resolution.

The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), but you can get a much better tablet for that few more dollars.
