Comparison review
GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, having a global score of 77.4 against 75.2. These tablets have the same Android 4.4.2 OS. Although it's the best tablet we are comparing, we must note that it is also a a lot heavier and just a bit thicker tablet. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a slightly better screen than Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also counts with a little bit greater amount of pixels per screen inch.
The Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a much greater storage to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and although they both have a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also has 32 GB more internal storage. Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) and Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 count with very similar processors, and although the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Quad-Core processor and a 450 MHz GPU.
GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has an 8220mAh battery capacity against 4800mAh. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 captures much clearer videos and photos than GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition). Both have a back camera with an 8 MP resolution, the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
Although GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
