Comparison review
The Galaxy Note 10.1 is a bit better than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, with a 66.3 score against 62.3. These devices include the same Android 4.4 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding that. The Galaxy Note 10.1 is a thicker and heavier device than the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8.
The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a lot better display than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a much better screen pixels density and a way better 1920 x 1200px resolution. The Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a much greater memory for applications and games than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has more internal memory.
Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a quite superior performance than Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM, the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 also has an additional graphics processing unit and a higher number of faster cores. Galaxy Note 10.1 features a really longer battery performance than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity instead of 4060mAh.
The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 shoots better videos and photos than Galaxy Note 10.1. Both of them have the same resolution back camera.
Although Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Note 10.1, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, giving up a couple specifications.
