Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a bit better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, getting a 66.3 score against 60.8. Both of these devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a more recent 4.4 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2, so it counts with a couple additional features and performance tweaks. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 design has the same thickness than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, but it's a lot heavier.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a much more vibrant display than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a lot better screen density and a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a quite better processing power than Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has an additional graphics co-processor.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 features a better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 also has a SD card slot that allows up to 32 GB. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a way better battery duration than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
