The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a general score of 66.3, which is much better than Galaxy Tab 8.9's overall score of 58.1. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has newer 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1's construction is newer, but extremely heavier and just a little bit thicker than Galaxy Tab 8.9.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features just a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 also counts with a little better pixel density.
