The Galaxy Note 10.1 is much better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, with a 66.3 score against 57.6. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 10.1 has an older 4.4 version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Despite being the best tablet in this review, we must note that it is also incredibly older, noticeably heavier and thicker.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Note 10.1, because it has 1 GB more RAM and 4 more cpu cores. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a better looking screen than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher number of pixels per inch in the screen and a lot better resolution of 1200 x 1920px.
Galaxy Note 10.1 features a very superior storage for games and applications than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has an external memory slot that supports up to 32 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with more internal storage. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD shoots greater pictures and videos than Galaxy Note 10.1, because it has a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a lot higher resolution camera.
Galaxy Note 10.1 has a really longer battery lifetime than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has a 37 percent greater battery capacity.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 is way more expensive than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
