Comparison review

Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is just a bit better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, getting a 63 score against 60.8. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has the newer 4.4.2 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2, giving some extra features and optimized performance. Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a a lot heavier tablet than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, but they are equally thin.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a way better looking display than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a way higher screen pixel density and a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a greater performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, and although they both have 4 processing cores and the same RAM amount, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has a graphics processing unit.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a much greater memory for applications and games than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's battery performance is very similar to the battery performance in Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE captures much better photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your money.
