The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is just a bit better than the Asus Fonepad 7, with a 63 score against 58.9. Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a a lot heavier but somewhat thinner tablet than Asus Fonepad 7. Both devices we compare here use Android operating system, but Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has the older 4.4.2 version and Asus Fonepad 7 has Android 5.0.
The Asus Fonepad 7 has a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a really smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800, the Asus Fonepad 7 also counts with a higher screen density. Asus Fonepad 7 and Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE count with quite similar storage capacity for games and applications, they have the same 16 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 64 GB.
The Asus Fonepad 7 has a little faster processor than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, and although they both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores, the Asus Fonepad 7 also has a 64-bit processing unit. The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE and the Asus Fonepad 7 both have really similar cameras, and although the Asus Fonepad 7 has a lot better video quality, they both have the same resolution back camera.
The Asus Fonepad 7's battery performance is just as good as Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE's battery life.
Although Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more than Asus Fonepad 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Asus Fonepad 7. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Asus Fonepad 7, letting go some features and specifications.
