Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, having a general score of 68.4 against 63. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a a lot lighter and somewhat thinner tablet than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, although both of them were only released with a few months difference. Both devices in this review use the same Android 4.4.2 OS (operating system).
The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a slightly better screen than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a really smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also counts with a better pixel density. The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a way bigger memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, and although they both have an external memory card slot that supports up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has more internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a quite superior performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU and the same RAM memory amount, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has an additional graphics co-processor. Galaxy Note 8.0 has a much longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a much better camera than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE. Both of them have a 5 MP back camera, the same (HD) video quality and the same video frame rates.
