The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE construction is newer and a bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s, but it's also a little heavier. These tablets come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has 4.4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1 version, so it provides you a couple additional features and optimized performance.
Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE counts with just a bit better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). They have the same exact 800 x 1280 resolution, the same amount of pixels in each inch in the display and a display of the same size. The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have an external SD slot that admits up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE also has more internal storage.
Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has more cpu cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, although it has a back facing camera with much less megapixels resolution and a worse (HD) video quality.

If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
