Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a score of 63, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's overall score of 61.7. Both tablets in this review include Android OS, but Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1 version, so it offers lots of additional features and a performance increase. Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE's construction is somewhat thinner but extremely heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and both were released with only 5 months difference.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with more RAM and a higher number of cores. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE features a little sharper display than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a way lower resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per display inch.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, although it has a worse 1280x720 video quality and a lot less mega pixels resolution back-facing camera. Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE counts with a much better memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have an external memory card slot that allows up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE also has 16 GB internal memory.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, giving up some specs and features.
