Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, getting a general score of 63 against 58.1. Even though the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is newer than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, it's a lot heavier and a little bit thicker. Both tablets in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has newer 4.4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a larger number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 also counts with a little bit higher pixel density.
