Comparison review

Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, getting a 63 score against 58.8. Both devices we compare here include Android OS, but the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a newer 4.4.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0 version. Although Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is newer than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, it is a little bit thicker and extremely heavier.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE counts with a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a larger number of cores (but slower). The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a little sharper display than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also counts with a little bit better screen density.

Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE features a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal storage, the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a way better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a little bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE also has a camera with lot more MP.
