Comparison review

Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a bit better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, having a global score of 63 against 57.6. Although it's the best portable tablet we are comparing here, Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE's construction is a lot older, thicker and noticeably heavier than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. Both devices in this comparison include Android OS, but the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has the older 4.4.2 version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because it has a higher amount of RAM and a greater number of cores. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a much better screen than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a much greater pixels quantity per inch of display and a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920.

The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a slightly better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has a SD card slot that supports up to 128 GB.

Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a very superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a very superior camera than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because it has a way better 1920x1080 video quality and a back-facing camera with much more MP.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it is way more expensive than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, else you can save some dollars and buy the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, letting go some specs and features.
