Comparison review

The Xperia Z2 Tablet has a global score of 69.8, which is a bit better than Galaxy Note 8.0's general score of 67.1. The Xperia Z2 Tablet design is newer and somewhat thinner than the Galaxy Note 8.0's, but it's incredibly heavier. Both tablets we are comparing here come with Android operating system, but the Xperia Z2 Tablet has the newer 4.4.4 version and Galaxy Note 8.0 has Android 4.4.2, so it gives some extra features.

The Xperia Z2 Tablet features a much better looking screen than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution, a bigger display and a little higher display density. The Xperia Z2 Tablet has just a little better performance than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a weaker graphics co-processor working at 450 MHz, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Xperia Z2 Tablet also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 shoots clearer photos and videos than Xperia Z2 Tablet, although it has a lot less mega-pixels camera in the back and a much worse 1280x720 (HD) video resolution. Galaxy Note 8.0 and Xperia Z2 Tablet both count with very similar storage to install games and applications, both of them have the same internal memory capacity and a SD card slot that admits up to 64 GB.

The Xperia Z2 Tablet has longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a 6000mAh battery size.

Even being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet is also a bit cheaper.
