Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is much better than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, getting a 69.2 score against 62.5. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0's design is a little thinner than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, although it's just a little bit heavier and was released many years before. Both of these tablets come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has 4.4.2 version while Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10, giving you some additional features.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with just a little better processing power than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Alcatel JOY TAB 2. Both have the same quantity of pixels per screen inch, the same 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and a display of the same size.
The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has a way better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB and 32 GB internal memory.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a bit superior battery lifetime than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has a 13 percent greater battery size.
Although Galaxy Note 8.0 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Alcatel JOY TAB 2. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
