Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a bit better than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, getting a 69.2 score against 67.9. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0's body is just a bit lighter than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, although it's a little thicker and was released just 20 months before. These tablets use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4 version.

Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a lot greater screen pixels density, a little larger screen and a much better 1600 x 2560px resolution. The Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a bit faster CPU than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have the same RAM amount and a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has an additional graphics co-processor.

The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a way bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's camera is very similar to Galaxy Note 8.0's camera, although the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also has a back camera with a much better 8 mega pixels resolution and a much better 1920x1080 video definition.

Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a really longer battery performance than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.

Even being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, Galaxy Note 8.0 is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
