Comparison review

Galaxy Note 8.0 has an overall score of 69.2, which is better than the Asus MeMO Pad 8's 61.2 score. Galaxy Note 8.0's construction is older, a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier than Asus MeMO Pad 8. Both tablets we compare here come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Note 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version and Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features and optimized performance.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a bit better CPU than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM and the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has an extra graphics processor. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a more vivid screen than Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a lot better 1920 x 1200 resolution and more pixels per screen inch.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 takes better photographs and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 8. They have the same resolution camera in the back, the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 video quality. Asus MeMO Pad 8 features much more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have a SD extension slot that supports up to 64 GB, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has 32 GB internal memory.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a really longer battery performance than Asus MeMO Pad 8.

Galaxy Note 8.0 is a lot more expensive than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
