The Galaxy Note 8.0 is better than the Asus ZenPad Z8s, having a global score of 69.2 against 62.6. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note 8.0 has 4.4.2 version while Asus ZenPad Z8s has Android 7.0 Nougat. The Galaxy Note 8.0 is a older, thicker and a bit heavier portable tablet than the Asus ZenPad Z8s.
Galaxy Note 8.0 has a bit better performance than Asus ZenPad Z8s, because although it has an inferior number of cores and slower and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit. The Asus ZenPad Z8s features a bit better looking display than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1536 x 2048 and much more pixels per inch in the display.
Asus ZenPad Z8s features a little bit better camera than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a back camera with a much better 13 megapixels resolution. Asus ZenPad Z8s counts with a little bit more storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Asus ZenPad Z8s also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 128 GB.
The Asus ZenPad Z8s's battery lifetime is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 one, although the Asus ZenPad Z8s also has a 2 percent more battery capacity.
