Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a general score of 69.2, which is a little bit better than the Microsoft Surface 3's 66.3 global score. Even though Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is noticeably older than the Microsoft Surface 3, it's body is just a little bit thinner and a lot lighter. The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a bit more vivid display than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a just a bit lower screen density, a lot smaller display and a much lower 800 x 1280 resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a bit faster CPU than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Microsoft Surface 3 features a superior memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a much longer battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 3. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features just a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a way lower 1280x720 (HD) video definition and a camera with a lot worse 5 megapixels resolution.

Even being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, Galaxy Note 8.0 is also a bargain compared to the other ones, making it a no doubt choice.
