Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is just a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Pro, having a 69.2 score against 63.2. Even though Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 and Microsoft Surface Pro were released with only a couple of months difference, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is way thinner and extremely lighter. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has Android 4.4.2 operating system, and Microsoft Surface Pro has Windows 8 Pro operating system.

Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a bit better processor than Microsoft Surface Pro, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a much better graphics co-processor working at 1064 MHz. Microsoft Surface Pro features a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a lot better resolution of 1080 x 1920, a way larger display and a bit greater pixel amount per inch of display.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 shoots a lot better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro, and although they both have the same (HD) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a much more megapixels camera and better video frame rate. The Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a much better storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a way better battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro.

Despite of being the best tablet in our comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is also by far the cheapest one.
