Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with Android 4.4.2 OS, and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has Windows 8.1 Pro OS. Although the Galaxy Note 8.0 and the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 were released only a few months apart, the Galaxy Note 8.0 is extremely thinner and noticeably lighter.
