Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is much better than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, having a 69.2 score against 62.5. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a just a little bit thinner and noticeably lighter tablet than the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE. Both devices we compare here use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a more recent 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has Android 3.1 version, so it offers a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 features a very superior hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has an additional GPU, 2 more cpu cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE features a display that is very similar to Galaxy Note 8.0's display, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a bit less pixels per screen inch, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280, it also counts with a larger display.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a camera with a lot higher resolution. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a slightly bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a really longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a 6800mAh battery capacity against 4600mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 costs more money than the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
