Galaxy Note 8.0 has a general score of 69.2, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0's 66.5 general score. Both of these devices have the same Android 4.4.2 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any difference in that aspect. Even though the Galaxy Note 8.0 and the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 were released only 2 months apart, the Galaxy Note 8.0 body is heavier but way thinner than the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a much better graphics processor running at 1064 MHz, a greater number of cores and a higher amount of RAM. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 counts with a little bit better display than Galaxy Note 8.0, although it has a way worse 600 x 1024 pixels resolution, a little bit less pixels per screen inch and a quite smaller display.
