Galaxy Note 8.0 has a score of 69.2, which is much better than the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids's general score of 57.5. Even though Galaxy Note 8.0 and the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids were released with only a couple months difference, Galaxy Note 8.0's design is somewhat heavier but also a lot thinner than the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. Both of these tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 8.0 has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has Android 4.1, providing the user a lot of extra features.
Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy Note 8.0, although it has a little smaller display, a little lower screen density and a lot worse resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels. The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a better processor than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has 1 GB more RAM, 2 more cores and an extra GPU.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a greater camera than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a much more mega pixels back-facing camera. Galaxy Note 8.0 has a superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB and 8 GB more internal memory capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with just a little better battery performance than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a 15% bigger battery size.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 is a lot more expensive than the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, but you can get a much better tablet for that few more dollars.
