Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a global score of 69.2, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's global score of 67.8. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a notably lighter tablet than the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, but both are equally thin. Both tablets we are comparing here come with the same Android 4.4.2 OS.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a larger amount of RAM and a better graphics processor working at 1064 MHz. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a screen that is very similar to Galaxy Note 8.0's screen, because although the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a just a little worse quantity of pixels per screen inch, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger screen.
Galaxy Note 8.0 and Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 both feature similar storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos, they have exactly the same internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that allows up to 64 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a lot more MP camera.
The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a 48 percent larger battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, else you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, resigning a couple features and specs.
