Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a global score of 69.2, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s general score of 60.4. These tablets include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has 4.4.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a way older and somewhat heavier tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), but Samsung was able to make it a little bit thinner anyway.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a quite better performance than Galaxy Tab A (2016), and although they both have 4 cpu cores, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has an extra graphics processing unit and a greater amount of RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a little bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a quite worse display density, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also counts with a little larger screen.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 shoots clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016). They have the same video frame rate, the same (HD) video definition and the same resolution back-facing camera. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features slightly more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 64 GB against 200 GB, it also counts with 8 GB more internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a bit superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab A (2016), but it's still a great choice, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
