Galaxy Note 8.0 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), getting a overall score of 69.2 against 65.7. Although the Galaxy Note 8.0 is extremely older than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), it's construction is a bit lighter and thinner. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 8.0 has the previous 4.4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie.

Galaxy Note 8.0 features a quite better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), and although they both have the same RAM memory amount and 4 cpu cores, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has an extra graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017). Both have a screen of the same size, exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and the same display pixels density.
