Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has an overall score of 79, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0's 69.2 global score. Both tablets we compare here use Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has the older 10 version while Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has Android 4.4.2. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3's body is newer, but a lot heavier and extremely thicker than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with more RAM and 4 more cpu cores. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a little bit better screen than Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has a higher pixel density and a much better 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a greater camera than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a very superior memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has 64 GB internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a bit better battery duration than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has 5050mAh of battery capacity instead of 4600mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Note 8.0, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
