Galaxy Note 8.0 has an overall score of 69.2, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab E's 60.7 global score. Despite of the fact that Galaxy Note 8.0 is way older than Galaxy Tab E, it's body is just a bit thinner and lighter. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab E has Android 4.4, so it provides you a couple additional features.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280px resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also counts with a little higher pixels density. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a quite superior performance than Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a greater amount of RAM memory and a graphics co-processor.

Galaxy Note 8.0 features slightly more storage to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab E, because although it has an external memory slot that holds up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 16 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 captures slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab E. They have the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality, the same video frame rates and a back camera with a 5 mega-pixels resolution.

Galaxy Tab E has just a bit better battery duration than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
