Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is slightly better than the Galaxy Note 8.0, with a overall score of 74.6 against 69.2. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has the older 4.4 version while Galaxy Note 8.0 has Android 4.4.2 version. Although the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is noticeably heavier than Galaxy Note 8.0, it's a little bit thinner and also newer.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 8.0, although it has a slower graphics processor working at 450 MHz, they both have 4 CPU cores and the same RAM amount. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a way greater number of pixels per inch in the display, a much better 1600 x 2560 resolution and a larger screen.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has 32 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Note 8.0 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, although it has a much lower 1280x720 video definition and a way less mega-pixels back facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a superior battery performance than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a 79% more battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Note 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Note 8.0. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Note 8.0, resigning a couple features and specifications.
