Both tablets in this comparison review have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab S9 FE has the older 13 version while Galaxy Note 8.0 has Android 4.4.2. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE is a noticeably newer and thinner portable tablet than Galaxy Note 8.0, but it's much heavier.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE features just a bit better display than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a way higher 1440 x 2304 resolution, a way bigger display and a better quantity of pixels per inch in the screen. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE features a much bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage.
