The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a global score of 69.2, which is better than the Xperia Tablet S's overall score of 58.9. Even when Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 and Xperia Tablet S were released with only a couple of months difference, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is incredibly thinner and notably lighter. Both of these devices have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has 4.4.2 version and Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1 version, so it counts with some extra features and improved performance.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a little bit better processing power than Xperia Tablet S, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has more RAM memory and a faster GPU.
