Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a global score of 69.2, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi MiPad's 64.4 general score. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0's body is just a bit thinner and a bit lighter than Xiaomi MiPad, although it was released about 15 months before. Xiaomi MiPad features a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution and a lot better amount of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a bit better performance than Xiaomi MiPad, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit and a 2 GB RAM, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has an additional GPU. Xiaomi MiPad captures a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a lot higher (Full HD) video definition and a back-facing camera with a way higher 8 mega-pixels resolution.
Xiaomi MiPad features slightly more storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi MiPad also has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB. The Xiaomi MiPad features a very superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a 6700mAh battery size instead of 4600mAh.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 is a little more expensive than the Xiaomi MiPad, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
