Both devices in this review have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note 8.0 has a more recent 4.4.2 version while Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro has Android 13 version, giving some additional features and optimized performance.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 features a much more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, because although it has a lower number of cores and 6 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a much sharper screen than Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, although it has a way smaller display.
Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a much better 50 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and a way better 3840x2160 video resolution.
