Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a score of 70.8, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Note 8.0's 68.4 global score. These devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Nexus 7 (2013) has the newer 5.0 version and Galaxy Note 8.0 has Android 4.4.2. Google Nexus 7 (2013)'s design is a bit thicker but somewhat lighter than the Galaxy Note 8.0, and both were released only 5 months apart.

Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a sharper display than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better display pixel density and a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a bit superior CPU than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and although they both have 4 CPU cores and a 2 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a much better graphics co-processor running at 1.06 gigahertz.
