The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is just a bit better than Galaxy Note 8.0, getting a score of 70.7 against 68.4. These tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a more recent 5.0 version and Galaxy Note 8.0 has Android 4.4.2 version. Even though Google Nexus 7 (2013) and Galaxy Note 8.0 were released only 5 months apart, Google Nexus 7 (2013)'s construction is somewhat lighter but also a little bit thicker than Galaxy Note 8.0.
