Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, getting a overall score of 73.3 against 68.4. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 design is newer, lighter and somewhat thinner than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. Both of these tablets have the same Android 4.4.2 OS, so both should provide the user very similar operating system features.

The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a lot better looking screen than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a quite larger display, a much higher pixels density and a much higher 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution. The Galaxy Note 8.0 has just a little better performance than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because although it has lesser RAM memory and a lower number of cores, it also counts with an extra GPU.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a back camera with a lot higher resolution and a way higher 1920x1080 video quality. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because although it has a SD card slot that allows 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity.
