Comparison review

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is just a bit better than Galaxy Player 4.2, getting a 58 score against 53.1. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android OS, but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has 4.2.2 version while Galaxy Player 4.2 has Android 2.3.5, so it offers some nice extra features. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is a way heavier tablet than the Galaxy Player 4.2, but both are equally thin.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a much better looking display than Galaxy Player 4.2, because it has a lot better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels, a way bigger display and a higher pixels amount per display inch. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a much better performing CPU than Galaxy Player 4.2, because it has a greater number of faster cores, an extra graphics processing unit and more RAM memory.

The Galaxy Player 4.2 takes much clearer photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. Galaxy Player 4.2 features a little bit more storage to store more apps and games than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 32 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2 features a much better battery duration than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
