Acer Iconia A1 is slightly better than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, with a global score of 54.6 against 54.2. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Acer Iconia A1 has 4.1 version and Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 has Android 2.3.5. Despite being the best tablet device we are comparing here, the Acer Iconia A1 is a thicker and notably heavier tablet device than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0.

Acer Iconia A1 counts with a better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because it has a higher number of cores, a higher amount of RAM and an extra graphics processor. Acer Iconia A1 features a display that is just as good as the display in Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because although the Acer Iconia A1 has a much lower pixels amount per display inch, it also counts with a much better resolution of 768 x 1024 pixels and a way bigger display.
