Galaxy Note 8.0 has a general score of 69.2, which is a lot better than the Galaxy S WiFi 4.0's score of 54.2. Galaxy Note 8.0's design is newer and way thinner, but also heavier than the Galaxy S WiFi 4.0. These tablets have Android operating system, but Galaxy Note 8.0 has a more recent 4.4.2 version while Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 has Android 2.3.5 version.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a much greater processing power than Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because it has an additional graphics processing unit, a larger amount of RAM and a larger number of faster cores. The Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a way lower resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of display.

Galaxy Note 8.0 has a little bit better storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has an external SD slot that admits up to 64 GB. The Galaxy Note 8.0 takes much better pictures and videos than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because it has a back facing camera with a lot better 5 mega-pixels resolution.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity against 1200mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 costs more than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
