Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is better than Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, with a 64.8 score against 54.2. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 design is much heavier but extremely thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, and both of them were released with only a few months difference. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has newer 4.0.4 version while Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 has Android 2.3.5, providing a couple additional features and increased performance.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a better CPU than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because it has more processing cores, an extra GPU and 512 MB more RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a little bit better screen than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because although it has a just a little lower pixel density, it also counts with a way bigger screen and a lot better 800 x 1280 resolution.

Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a way bigger storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, and although they both have an external memory card slot that admits up to 32 GB, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has 64 GB internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a bit better camera than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, although it has a less mega pixels resolution back-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a way better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S WiFi 4.0. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
