Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, getting a 58.8 score against 54.2. Although Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE and the Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 were released with only 6 months difference, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE body is extremely heavier but thinner. Both tablets in this review use Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has newer 4.0 version and Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 has Android 2.3.5, so it gives lots of additional features.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because it has a larger number of faster cores. Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because although it has a much worse screen density, it also counts with a much better 800 x 1280 resolution and a way larger display.

The Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 features a superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal storage, the Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 also has a SD card slot that admits up to 32 GB. Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a slightly better camera than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, although it has a worse resolution back-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a way better battery duration than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because it has a 6100mAh battery capacity.
